A few updates.
First, I’ll be going on Laura Ingraham’s show today at 9:30 a.m. EST — be sure to catch it. It’ll be a lot of fun.
Secondly, we’ve nailed down our location. We are meeting at Lafayette Square Park at noon on Friday. This is just north of the White house, and two blocks south of the Farragut North Metro station (very easy to get to from CPAC). If you’re on the orange/blue lines, take the McPherson Square metro stop. I’ll post a map in a moment.
Please bring cameras, especially ones with video, American flags, and tea bags if you can find any to swing around the air. We’ll also have a very special surprise for the event.
We’re expecting a little rain. We’re going to go ahead and do this though, rain or shine. Liberty-minded people need to show that when the cause is worthy, they *will* rally. Let’s overturn the current wisdom that only activists can organize.

My parents and inlaws all started with nothing, but because of the greatness of this country, we were given so much and were able to make our own American dream. My grandfather fought in WWI, my uncles and my dad fought in WWII and my brother went Viet Nam to defend our right to be free. I can’t look my grandson in the eye with what this country is becoming.

There’s a storm abrewin’. What happens when good, responsible people keep quiet? Washington has forgotten they work for us.
We don’t work for them. Throwing good money after bad is NOT the answer. I am sick of the midnight, closed door sessions to
come up with a plan. I am sick of Congress raking CEO’s over the coals while they, themselves, have defaulted on their taxes.
I am sick of the bailed out companies having lavish vacations and retreats on my dollar. I am sick of being told it is MY responsibility
to rescue people that, knowingly, bought more house than they could afford. I am sick of being made to feel it is my patriotic duty
to pay MORE & MORE taxes. I, like all of you, am a responsible citizen. I pay my taxes. I live on a budget and I don’t ask someone else to
carry the burden for poor decisions I may make. I have emailed my congressmen and senators asking them to NOT vote for the
stimulus package as it was written without reading it first. No one listened. They voted for it, pork and all. There present direction
is taking us straight in to socialism or worse.
O.K. folks, here it is. You may think you are just one voice and what you think won’t make a difference.
Well, yes it will and YES, WE CAN!! If you are disgusted and angry with the way Washington is handling our taxes. If you are
fearful of the fallout from the wreckless spending of BILLIONS to bailout and “stimulate” without accountability and responsibility
then we need to become
ONE, LOUD VOICE THAT CAN BE HEARD FROM
EVERY CITY, TOWN, SUBURB AND HOME IN AMERICA.
There is a growing protest to
demand that Congress, the President and his cabinet LISTEN to us, the American
Citizens. What is being done in Washington is NOT the way to handle the economic
free fall.
So, here’s the plan. On April 1, 2009,
all Ameicans are asked to send a TEABAG to Washinton , D.C. You do not have to
enclose a note or any other information unless you so desire. Just a TEABAG.
Many cities are organizing protests. If you simply search, ( goggle ) “New American TeaParty”, several sites will come up. If you aren’t the
‘protester’ type, simply make your one voice heard with a TEABAG. Your one voice will become a roar when joined with million
of others that feel the same way. Yes, something needs to be done but the lack of confidence as shown by the steady decline in the
stock market speaks volumes.
This was not my idea. I visited the
sites of the ‘New American Tea Pary’ and an online survey showed over 90% of
thousands said they would send the teabag on April 1. Why, April 1?? We want
them to reach Washington by April 15. Will you do it? I will. Send it to;

would encourage everyone to go ahead and get the envelope ready to mail, then just drop it in the mail
April 1.

I am a Senior Citizen-80 yrs old- with over 30 years military service and I don’t even recognize the USA today. Congress and Presidents ignore the problems with illegal immigrants and the demands of the majority of citizens on several issues.
Government is supposed to serve its citizens, but it is only serving itself. Like most concerned Americans today, I am sick and tired of those in our government acting in ways that totally ignore the desires/demands of its citizens. They swear to uphold, support and defend the Constitution, yet they act as though they don’t even have any idea as to what it provides or requires. They are interested only in being re-elected, their actions prove what they are all about, and it is NOT about doing what is right for America. Kick them all out before it is too late.
ATER I WAS TOLD I DIDN’T QUILIFY FOR HOSPITAL INSURANCE BECAUSE OF A PREXISTING CONDITIONS ( I HAVE EPILEPSY AND AM AN AMPUTEE) I WAS TOLD TO DIVORCE MY HUSBAND AND I COULD GO ON DISABILITY. HE HAD JUST LOST HIS JOB. SO, I STARTED MY OWN BUSINESS AND RECIEVE HOSPITAL INSURANCE, NO QUESTION ASK. IAM AM NOW 68. WE JUST LOST $75,000 IN THE STOCK MSRKET OUR RETIREMENT. WE OWN OWN OUR OWN HOME, CARS, AND HAVE NO CREDIT CARD BILLS. I DON’T THINK IT FAIR. WE HAVE HAD A FIRE AND HAD TO REBULT, HAD A 75 FT. OAK TREE DESTROY PART OF OUR HOME. WE STARTED OVER WHY CAN’T OTHER PEOPLE AND BUSINESS DO IT BYTHEMSELVES WITHOUT THE TAX PAYERS MONEY.
Where do I mail my tea bag? I’m assuming I need to mail mine to the White House???
the tea party was symbolic of tax on tea. Look how much of our tax dollars they collect to spend ‘however’ the multimillionaires of gov’t want to spend it! all of their pork projects should be fundraisers. our tax dollars should only be spent on what it absolutely necessary. dumping tea bags proved their point! our hard earned tax dollars will prove our point. will spending our money on tea bags, envelopes & stamps make them listen to us? We are the ‘public servants serving’ them!
I think the idea of Teabagging liberals is a great idea.
You guys should have a contest to see who Teabags the most liberals and post the results on your site.
